Revolutionary Roots

Whether they signed the Declaration of Independence or accompanied the troops as a drummer boy, nothing brings out patriotism quite like uncovering an ancestor who participated in the American Revolution. It's easier than you might think to Get a Copy of Your Revolutionary War Ancestor's Military Records. Then, if you do find patriots in your family tree, consider joining a lineage society such as Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), or bringing your ancestor's participation in the struggle for American independence to life with these American Revolutionary War resources.
