Blogging About Genealogy
Sunday January 11, 2004
A recent discovery for me, GenealogyBlog.com offers an interesting genealogical coffee break. A great way to stay up-to-date with the latest genealogy announcements, news, and tips, this Heritage Creations project includes posts from genealogists such as Leland Meitzler, publisher of Heritage Quest Magazine, and Bill Dollarhide, editor of Genealogy Bulletin, as well as several other genealogical authors.
What's a blog, you ask? Blog is short for web log - a Web page or site that is frequently updated with useful, timely information; contains commentary from the blogger (author); and links to other Web pages of interest or importance on the topic. Did you know that the home page of this site (About Genealogy) is also a genealogy blog?
