Before his death in 1999, Wayne Owen wrote out numerous cards and letters to his family to be opened on future special dates and occasions. While many may think this sounds morbid, I think it is one of the most touching things I've ever heard. According to Wisconsin's Capital Times, Wayne's son, Dennis, who is 36, plans to also write letters in advance for his children. What a wonderful family tradition!
