Happy Bastille Day

Monday July 12, 2004
Wednesday, July 14, is Bastille Day in France, a national holiday commemorating the day in 1789 when peasants stormed Paris' Bastille prison and sparked the French Revolution. Celebrations throughout the country usually begin with a military parade and end with fireworks. In between, the French revel with food and drink.
