Hot on the heels of the 1861 census, the earliest name-inclusive census (1841) of England is now available online at British Origins. If you have ancestors who lived in Cambridgeshire, Devon, or Gloucestershire (including Bristol and its suburbs) the records are already available. The rest "will be added in the coming months."
