International Society of Genetic Genealogy

Monday September 12, 2005
I joined a new group this week, and thought some of you might be interested too. The International Society of Genetic Genealogy is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the use of DNA testing in genealogy.

Membership in ISOGG is FREE and open to everyone with an interest in genetic genealogy. The society is designed primarily as a support group for people running or participating in DNA projects, and to educate people who want to learn more about using DNA to trace their ancestors. The benefits of membership include access to a Yahoo Group mailing list, regional meetings, and articles and guidance on starting and running a DNA project.
