Outlander by Diana GabaldonAren't there times you wish you could travel back in time to see what life was really like for your ancestors? I know I do, which is probably why I have such a passion for the Outlander book series by Diana Gabaldon, where heroine Claire Randall finds herself unexpectedly transported back in time to 18th century Scotland where she meets her present-day husband's notorious ancestor, Captain John Randall. Or, if you're looking for something a little lighter, there are also a number of fun mysteries with a genealogy twist included in my Top 10 Fiction Books for Genealogy Lovers.
