New X-STR Genetic Genealogy Tests

Family Tree DNA has announced ground-breaking new X chromosome tests (X-STR) for genealogy testing. The X-STR tests, originally developed by German-based DNA-Fingerprint which recently merged with Family Tree DNA, focus on linked "haplotype blocks" chromosome, which are inherited intact over several generations.
