Family Pursuit

Monday March 19, 2007
A new genealogy management software is on the horizon. Family Pursuit was publicly unveiled at the 2007 Computerized Family History and Genealogy Conference held this past weekend in Provo, UT. The service will be Web-based and offers a collaborative platform on which multiple family members or researchers can take an active part in collectively researching a particular family tree. The product will be entering beta testing in early summer with a planned release date of August 2007. For more information visit www.familypursuit.net.

While Family Pursuit may indeed bring some new tools to the table, Web-based collaborative genealogy software is not a new invention. Several other companies also offer Web-based genealogy software and collaboration tools for researching your family tree.
