FamilySearch Update: More Free Records Added
Tuesday June 10, 2008
The FamilySearch Record Search pilot has just added 3.1 million records from the 1850 U.S. Census for the states of Maine, New Jersey, and Ohio. An additional 117,000 unindexed digital images were added for Philadelphia marriages and Czech Republic church books. These collections can be searched for free at pilot.familysearch.org.

I can’t seem to get into these records. Just says “error.”
I had no problem viewing the new indexes at the pilot site with my Mac 10.4 until yesterday. Now nothing.
I have two different IBM computers on line
Win98 and WinVista.
The Win98 no longer gets the images. The WinVista still gets them, with a full screen option.
Good post, admin.

The new search feature is based on “Flash” (a program). You might need to update your browser’s Flash viewer by visiting: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If you know someone around you who is being a little shady and you are getting uncomfortable around them, then maybe you might want to run a small background report on the person in question to make sure that they are ‘who they say they are’.
