I Love Your Blog

I'm extremely honored to have been chosen this past week for the "I Heart Your Blog" award by two talented genealogists: Janet Hovorka of The Chart Chick blog and Cat of Genealogy: Diggin Up Dirt. This blog commendation has been circulating around the genealogy community for almost a month and it feels good to finally know I'm loved. Of course, that makes it a bit challenging to find wonderful blogs to highlight that haven't been previously chosen... Instead of aiming for seven, or repeating those that have already been so honored, I just thought I would post here a few that I was just exploring today.

• Jessica's GeneJournal - Jessica posts many great personal research examples, such as this one on The Wives of the Two Henrys. Consider yourself officially tagged.
• NGS 2009 Blog - My paternal grandfather was born in the small town of Fountain, in Eastern North Carolina...in the same area where his ancestors initially settled in the early 1700s. So how could I not highlight this great blog of the 2009 NGS Conference which will be held in Raleigh, NC in May?
• Virginia Genealogy Blog - Genealogist Arlene Eakle only adds a few new posts each month, but what she does have to say about Virginia genealogy and history is well worth reading.
