Bruce Buzbee, developer of the popular genealogy software RootsMagic, has released a new update (version 2.04a). This free update addresses the following items in version 2

• New IGI search and update feature (”Search > IGI Search”)
  
  
• Descendant list now has option to print birth/death dates in columns
  
  
• Wall charts - Added option to center names and/or events in boxes
  
  
• Wall charts - User can enter their own labels (like B: instead of Birth:)
  
  
• Wall charts - Retain aspect ratio of pictures when resizing boxes
  
  
• Wall charts - Fixed bug where pictures could change when copy/pasting charts
  
  
• Wall charts - Fixed bug where boxes shorter than .5″ would hang program
  
  
• Wall charts - Name wraps in box if too long
  
  
• Added calendar buttons for dates on to-do page
  
  
• Source references don’t sometimes appear in website for privatized facts anymore
  
  
• File dialogs “see” .jpeg extension images now
  
  
• Alternate names now display in website family group sheets
  
  
• Changed wording when adding a spouse and the couple is already married /linked
  
  
• TempleReady export now checks that person has been deceased at least one year
  
  
• Reading .OUP file doesn’t assign wrong temple to ordinances with no temple anymore
