I was sad to hear that Holly Hansen is leaving as Editor-in-Chief of Everton's Genealogical Helper magazine. Anyone who has met or worked with Holly knows how dedicated she is in sharing her passion for family history - a passion that was the driving force behind resurrecting Everton's Genealogical Helper and the large Everton Library, and we all owe her a debt of gratitude! She is moving on, however, in order to devote more time to her company, My Ancestors Found, and to hopefully have more time to spend with her family.

The recent comeback of Genealogical Helper is not in jeopardy, however. Leland Meitzler, former owner of Heritage Creations and editor of Heritage Quest magazine, is joining Everton Publishers as the Managing Editor of the Genealogical Helper. Leland is a great genealogist and editor, and I'm happy that he has found a new place to share his expertise with the rest of us.
