Blogs are a popular method for writing and sharing just about anything these days. Mostly because it's easy - you just open up your blog software and start to write. For genealogists, a family history blog can serve as a type of online journal, and providing an easy, more interactive substitute for a standard genealogy Web site.
Starting a family history blog is easy, costs very little, and is a lot of fun - something to keep you thinking about, searching for, writing about and sharing your family history with the world.
Have you read any good family history blogs lately? I'm not talking about news and how-to genealogy blogs such as this one or the others included in my Related Genealogy Blogs list, but true family history blogs - the ones full of stories, photos, documents and musings about someone's family history. If so, click on comments and share them with us!
