New Decade of UK Outbound Passenger Lists Added to AncestorsOnBoard
Thursday April 5, 2007
Another decade of passenger lists from ships leaving the UK between 1910 and 1919 is available for online research at AncestorsOnBoard.com. This brings the total number of passenger lists to 71,600, with 11.3 million names between 1890 and 1919. AncestorsOnBoard is a cooperative project of The National Archives and FindMyPast.com, and offers access to these passenger records via both subscription and pay-per-view.
The only surviving passenger list you won't find from the new decade is that of the RMS Titanic. They are saving that one to unveil on April 14, the 95th anniversary of the ship's tragic sinking.
