Footnote is quickly becoming one of my favorite genealogy sites for researching American ancestors. The search feature, while simple, works well and the user interface and image quality is first rate. Best of all, they keep adding new titles quickly. In the past two weeks alone, they've added thousands of new documents to their Western and Eastern PA Naturalization records, so almost every time I stop back I find something new. They also offer a little something from all time periods - from Revolutionary War pension files to 20th century naturalization records. The subscription, at least for me, has already paid for itself.
If you haven't tried Footnote for yourself, they offer a 7-day free trial. If money is an issue, you can generally see enough in the document preview to determine whether it actually references the individual for whom you are searching, and you can purchase a download of that individual document for just $1.99. Alternatively, you can also access Footnote for free at your local Family History Center.
