Passenger Lists at the Massachusetts Archives
The state of Massachusetts maintained separate State Passenger Lists (1848-1891) which are only available from the Massachusetts State Archives in Boston. If you are unable to find your immigrant ancestor in the National Archives or FHL federal passenger lists, then you should search these lists. The MA State Archives will do research by mail.
