SOUTHERLIN Pickens
Butler Southerlin was my great-grandfather. He and his wife Synthia
Ann Cantrell Southerlin are buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church,
Marietta, SC. I cannot find who their ancestors were. All of
the cousins I have interviewed do not know either. Who was his
mom and dad? Thanks to any one who can help.

EUSTIS
I am searching for a Richard M. EUSTIS, rumored to have come to
America from England about 1836 with a Tobais EUSTIS,
"supposedly an uncle." I can follow Tobias down, but
i cannot find an actual link with Richard M. anywhere. My line
of EUSTIS can be traced back to Richard, but only through another's
research. As far as I can personally get is Richard's
children, Truman EUSTIS and his sister Alice Ione Selina EUSTIS.
I am interested in any information about where/when Richard M.
EUSTIS actually came over and does anyone know where he settled or
who he married? Truman and his wife Ella JONES are buried in
Hinsdale, IL along with their four children. I do not know
where Alice is buried or who she married. Thanks!

COCKBURN I am trying to trace a Jim or James
Cockburn who served in the Black Watch from 1901 to about 1915.
His Army Number was 8296, I know he went to India with the 2nd
Battalion & was stationed at Barain in 1908.
He was wounded in the Great War in 1915 & I believe he went to
Canada sometime after that. Any information would be greatly
appreciated. He was my great uncle.

DAUGHERTY I am
seeking information on William Daugherty born abt. 1745 in Ireland.
He married Mary Wright of New Jersey in New Jersey abt. 1770.
They had 8 children. Sarah, John, Daniel, Velena,
William,Lemuel, Horris and Thomas all born in New Jersey. I
have no idea what part of New Jersey they lived. I am trying
to link William Daugherty to my great grandfather John Slack
Daugherty ( b. 1840) who lived in Pennsylvania. I would like
to know who John Slack Daugherty's parents and siblings were.
A very old paper was found in my grandfathers (William Ryan
Daugherty) things after he passed away stating that William
was the first of our family to come from Ireland listed his
wife & children & children's birthdates. If any one
has any information on these names I would appreciate hearing from
them. Thanks so much for any and all information.
