Event: Birth

Dates: From 1907

Cost of copy: $10.00 (includes a 5-year search)

Comments: Birth Records in Montana of less than 30 years are not considered public and will only be released to the person named on the certificate or an immediate family member. After 30 years have passed from the date of birth an informational copy of the birth record may be obtained by anyone, though certified copies are still only available to family members. Photocopy of picture ID and signature required.

Dates: From 1907

Cost of copy: $10.00 (includes a 5-year search)

Comments: Death Records in Montana of less than 30 years are not considered public and will only be released to the person named on the certificate or an immediate family member.
