Black's Law Dictionary
First written in 1891, Black's Law Dictionary The older editions are best for genealogical purposes because they contain older, archaic terms that have since fallen into disuse. Great for understanding the basic legal terms that you find in old deed and court cases. The 1891 and 1910 editions are also available on CD-ROM from Archive CD Books USA.
