How many of you own just one book about genealogy? Probably not many. There are so many "must-have" genealogy reference books, that it is impossible to define one as "the best." It really depends on what you're looking for at the particular moment. Thus, I am looking for "favorite" rather than "best," and hoping that many of you learn about a great new genealogy reference book through this process. What genealogy reference book do you pull of your shelf more than any other? What genealogy reference book teaches you something new every time you open it? What is the book that first opened your eyes to the world of genealogy? However you choose to define "favorite," nominate your favorite genealogy reference book or books for the 2013 About.com Readers' Choice Awards!
