My Review 

My favorite characteristic of Family Tree Maker is that I can customize my listings for each person in the family tree. For example, since I can get physical descriptions from WWI and II draft registrations, I can have that information on the individual page. I have several relatives who were members of lodges, so this is something I've added myself to the list of individual characteristics. Even though Legacy has an option to add notes to each person, you have to open each note in order to see the information. This isn't the case with Family Tree Maker. I can also link my documents that support what I've written on the individual page along with all of the photos that I have for that individual. Unfortunately the software is not able to download photos from Ancestry although it can download supporting documents. My professional background is in commercial real estate so I'm into getting land records for my tree members. I'd like to be able to customize a report in Family Tree Maker that would pick up certain information from the land records, but that feature also is not available in this software.
