My Most Wanted Ancestor
Hezekiah Johnson is my great great great great grandfather. BRICK WALL
His son Isaac W. Johnson was born 11 Sept 1811 in Barnston, PQ, Canada and died 6 Nov 1900 in Stratford, NH, USA as per his death certificate. This death certificate has his father as Hezekiah Johnson born in Gilmanton, NH and mother Betsey Willey born in Meredith, NH. Isaac was married to Jane A Bedell.
A history of Stratford, NH states that ancestors came from Aberdeen, Scotland.
Any help/information would be gladly appreciated.
Research & Records
A cousin and I have researched many sources. Have tried to locate something with a birth or death date on Hezekiah / Betsey. Checked census records for New Hampshire, Canada for approximate dates for each. Shirley has gone to town clerks searching records and reading many local history books.
