DNA May Become Future Sunscreen

A short strand of DNA, known as pTT, may become the sunscreen of the future according to researchers at Boston University medical school. The fragment, which penetrates the skin when rubbed on, has been shown to suppress the growth of UV-induced tumors and can also help repair and prevent skin damage.
