The Bureau of Land Management's Web site is back up and running following a two-week, court-ordered shutdown. An appeals court blocked a judge's ruling that had previously ordered most of the Interior Department's computers disconnected from the Internet. It's not necessarily a permanent solution, however, so now would be a good time to search for your ancestor's land records!
