Seven new indexing projects have been released to volunteer indexers at FamilySearch Indexing during the past two weeks including the Argentina 1869 census (Buenos Aires and Cordoba y San Luis), Massachusetts death and marriage records, New Hampshire birth records, and church and land tax records from Cheshire in the UK.

FamilySearch also announced an agreement with Ancestry.ca this week to digitize and index existing Canadian censuses. As with many of the previous agreements between the two companies, FamilySearch will digitize and index Canadian census records acquired by Ancestry.ca. These digitized and indexed records will be available to customers of Ancestry.ca, and the indexes will be available for free to the public at FamilySearch.org. The images will be free to qualified FamilySearch members and all FamilySearch family history centers. FamilySearch will deliver images and indexes to Ancestry.ca for censuses from 1861, 1871, 1881, and 1916, to launch online in 2009. In return, Ancestry.ca will provide indexes to FamilySearch for the 1891 and 1901 Canadian censuses already available on Ancestry.ca.
