New Newspapers Added to Chronicling America

Chronicling America, one of several historic newspaper sites that I turn to on a regular basis, has just added newspaper content from New Mexico, Tennessee, and Vermont, as well as additional coverage from other newspapers for the period 1836-1859, to their collection of  historic newspapers from 22 other states and the District of Columbia. Sponsored jointly by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress, Chronicling America has to date digitized almost 4 million pages of historic newspaper pages published between 1836 and 1922.
